I was SO thinking I was well into the 13's but I guess not.

20 PSI up front, forgot to pump up the rears to ~50.

No weight reduction done.

Launching @ ~2000 and slipping the clutch ala Greg Holden.

The HP calc I have based on trap speed puts me at 235 to the wheels.

Thanks for that pump. Also, your car felt awlsome Bill..thanks for giving me a test drive. I think your car def. has the power to get into 13s...like all of us, we just need more traction. May be you want to put the drag radial and Quaife LSD on your Xmas wish list

I'm glad my 1-2-3 method helped. I can't believe that I went 25 or so 1/4 mile runs before it occured to me to practice my footwork with the engine off.

What weight did you use for the Trap Speed/HP estimate? My car + me (180) - spare tire - floor mats + gas tank on empty weighs 2635 pounds or so on the track scale. It seems like your HP estimate is high unless your car is really heavy.

I went off of a curb weight of 2820 (from a dos based simulator named CarTest) + me (180#) + 1/2 tank of gas (50#).

I have found another curb weight of 2700# on some web site so if I use that +180# +50# I get 226 HP.

2635# sounds low, but it's real world as opposed to these #'s I am pulling from here and there.

Can't you just ley me think my car weighs 3200# so I can say I have 300 HP? Jez.

The scale at the track was broken so I couldn't get an accurate #.

If it helps, back when I was using a G-Tech meter, I weighed my car with everything in it + me + an absolutely full tank of gas. This was pre-JRSC, so the car was likely 20 pounds lighter or so then.

2850 pounds (+/- 20 pounds, this was a transfer station scale, not a track scale).

I've found that most weights listed anywhere (on the car, in magazines) are not correct in the world I live in.
